Repost… more evidence that COVID is not a respiratory disease
A while back I pointed out in a post that the coronavirus SAR-2 is in fact not a respiratory disease. It simply tends to start in the respiratory system, and thus we attribute it to being one.
As health care providers tackle this virus over the course of time they, and we, learn more about it. Here is an article, that gives a pretty good overview of the various ways the virus can affect us.
The article states that the virus is that it attaches with the ACE2 protein of cells in our bodies. It uses this protein to gain entry into our cells It is apparently very good at replicating quickly. What surprised me though is the article’s claim that the virus doesn’t aggressively destroy the cells it infects..
We are almost 8 months into this global pandemic. Millions have been infected, and over half a million people have died from it. Yet the coronavirus seems to be a mystery that only deepens over time.
